Philosophy on teacher licensing:
Teacher licensure and the testing that accompanies it, is the cornerstone for maintaining a high quality in our profession.  It is imperative that we continue to monitor the infusion of new teachers while also supporting those teachers who are part of the existent teacher workforce.

Goals as an HTSB Board member:

1. To promote a seamless process of licensure for teachers that has adequate evaluative mechanisms and a supportive structure for the renewal of licenses.
